Jessica and Dan

Jessica and Dan had a fabulous day of their wedding. Such a wonderful group of people too! All the guests had a ball at Belhurst Castle. Jessica looked so pretty I made a slideshow. Check it out!!

Photo of the Week!

A portrait of one of my all time favorite bride and grooms Heidi and Sean are featured on Bathrobebride.com. Check it out! Bathrobebride is a local networking website for Rochester brides. How fun is that?!

People say the nicest things!

Hi Rachel....I can not tell you how THRILLED I am with the pics. I haven't gone through them all in detail yet but they are absolutely wonderful.....I really feel like you captured Dan and my day to a T! I just look at them and I remember how happy I was that day. So thank you!!!

I won an award!

The staff at Children Awaiting Parents were kind enough to give me a certificate of appreciation in recognition of my valuable contribution. Awww:) I really enjoyed photographing for them and can't wait to do it again this year!

Children Awaiting Parents

I will be speaking briefly at Children Awaiting Parents opening exhibit at Spot Coffee!

On Tuesday June 3rd, at 11:00 am, Children Awaiting Parents will be having an opening at Spot Coffee. Spot Coffee is located at 200 East Avenue in Rochester, NY.

Last summer I took photos of two brothers that are in foster care. Their names are Daniel and Dimriti. They were such a pleasure to meet and photograph!

Even though it was close to a year ago, I still think about them quite often and wonder how they are doing. Hopefully I'll get the chance to find out!

Sheila and Mike

Sheila and Mike

Sheila and Mike were in the Rochester area for a Memorial day weekend visit. Sheila and I have e-mailed furiously back and forth, but had not met before, so it was nice to put a face to the e-mails! They are such a sweet couple! We had a blast playing around with the different flowers that were blooming in the park. I can't wait to be a part of their day! Thanks again for choosing me Sheila and Mike!

Emily and Justin

Emily and Justin

Emily and Justin were married at St. Michaels in Penn Yan. It is a beautiful old church with lots of stained glass windows, high vaulted ceilings, and a huge balcony overlooking the altar. Their wedding ceremony was elegant and simple, just the way Emily had hoped.

She wore a wonderful white gown with a tasteful string of pearls she later told me one of her bridesmaids made for her. Justin wore a black tux with a white lilly boutonniere. They really did look stunning.

After the ceremony the whole gang hopped into a limo bus by Park Place Limos. I must say their driver was thoughtful and attentive to their every need, and the bus had a/c! That doesn't sound very exciting, but driving in a full bus in summer without a/c is, well, fragrant:).

The reception at Belhurst Castle was fabulous. Carmen, Belhurst's friendly wedding coordinator was there to greet Emily, Justin, and the party with cold beverages and toasty horderves. Thanks to Emily and Justin's fun loving bridal party, they danced all night to the band, TS Ensemble from Albany. They rocked the house! Check them out at www.tsensemble.com. Good stuff.

Thanks again for letting me be a part of your day. It was so much fun!

Beth and Kurt

Beth and Kurt

Beth and Kurt came up from the big apple to spend some time with friends, family, and me! We went out to Pittsford village, then over to Mt. Hope cemetery for some fun and photos to celebrate their engagement. Beth and Kurt truly are two of the sweetest people I have had the chance to meet. I can't wait for their day!
